Excellent walk/talk by Berni & Gill last Saturday - we learned a lot of social and economic history in that one hour, well done and thank you ladies!

Plus, the rain held off :)

Our guided walk last Sunday (19 July) was warm and sunny, if a little windy, and was well attended with about 2 dozen people.

The advertising in the Echo obviously paid off, as most of those on our walk were not Society members. It is nice to know that people are interested in our locality.

We intend to sort out the money collected at our meeting in September.
