Remembrance Sunday 2015 is 8th November, with Remembrance Day itself a few days later on Wednesday 11th November.

Those involved in 1944 well knew of Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday - commemorations were introduced decades earlier, following the 1914-18 'Great' War.

For those members of Moordown Local History Society who wish to plan a commemoration at the Moordown Halifax Memorial at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, specifically Wed 11th Nov 2015, this forum would be place to arrange it.
